Dallas Stars Xtreme clinics

The Dallas Stars Xtreme Skills Clinics (goalie, stick skills, power skating, shooting, checking) are taught by the Dallas Stars Xtreme Team, coaches the Stars describe as certified through USA Hockey. Full gear is required for every Xtreme clinic. The camps and clinics page lists these clinic types:

ClinicFocus (as published)
Goalie clinicsGoalies ages 6-16; all-around goaltending skills
Stick skills clinicsPuck-handling techniques
Power skating clinicsEdges, agility and stride
Shooting clinicsShots from stationary to in-motion
Checking clinicsContact confidence skills
Adult skills clinicsBeginner to intermediate adult players

The Stars say their station-based model gives players three times more personal skill development than traditional full-ice team practices, which is why most clinics are built around small groups and stations.

Summer camp 2027 and learn-to-play clinics

The Dallas Stars Xtreme Summer Hockey Camp 2027 is a week-long, half-day camp for players of all positions ages 4 to 14, with 1.5 hours of on-ice training per day, an off-ice session, off-ice gear and a camp jersey. Players need their own gear. The Stars list 2027 dates as TBD; our listing notes that the 2026 edition was $475 per week at Northlake. The Dallas Stars Learn to Play Full-Ice Clinics pair a 60-minute classroom session (parents welcome) with 40 minutes on the ice, kids only, to teach positioning and rules. New dates are "stay tuned."

Camps and clinics for girls

3 listings are girls-only: Victory Green Girls Jamboree Series, Dallas Stars Elite Girls Summer Camp (w/ Hannah Bilka & Ally Simpson) and Team Texas Girls HS JV Identification Skates. The Victory Green Girls Jamboree Series runs monthly through May at Comerica Center Frisco and StarCenter Farmers Branch, open to girls 4 to 18 in the Dallas area. See our girls hockey guide for leagues and teams.

How to pick a camp

Match the camp to the skater. Brand-new players are better served by free intro programs like Little Rookies, because the clinics above require full gear and basic skating. House-league players looking for extra reps often choose a weekly skills class or a single-skill clinic. Ask each organizer about group size, coach-to-player ratio and what level the session is aimed at, then book through the organizer's own page. Browse the full camps and clinics directory, or compare private instructors if you want one-on-one work.
