Start here: Girls Rookies (free)

The Dallas Stars Girls Rookies program, presented by GEICO, is a free five-week program for girls ages 4 to 14 who are playing hockey for the first time. Each Saturday the girls get all the equipment they need, 30 minutes of instruction each week for four weeks, plus a stick and a Rookies jersey to keep. The current schedule lists November 2026 at Comerica Center (Frisco). It is open to first-time participants only.

Victory Green: the all-girls house league
